Did your New Year's Eve party include BASE jumping 32 stories off a Minneapolis hotel? It did for David Juntunen -- and he wasn't even the only one to do such a stunt here in 2008. Juntunen and two of his friends were arrested a few hours after he jumped from the Foshay Tower when they returned to the building to show off photos at the W Hotel bar. This report from Mark Albert includes video taken during the jump.

That's great. Way to pump up the sport. Lap top to the bar huh? Like a bunch of idiots.
If you really need to brag, do it somewhere else. I hope those guys don't keep this trend up. I don't want to see our sport outlawed in every city.

You guys just don't understand. StupidDave MEANT to get busted. He has a top secret plan by which his getting busted is going to cure cancer, bring peace to the MiddleEast, end the recession, legalize base jumping & hemp, and free Tibet. He won't go into details about how going back to the building and getting caught while bragging about his jump is going to accomplish this, but it sure sounds plausable.

Apparently he can do all of this because he is a wealthy real estate investor. He even bought a building in an Idaho city just so some poor locals would be able to make a building jump. I know this because he posted pics online of him in front of it with "Owned" written on it. Man thats rad, jumping buildings after you buy them. Sure beats the way we've always had to do it in the dark, on the sly, and without anyone knowing about it.

Chris, how do you think he became SUPER? He was once regular old average Dave but then one day sold his Fiero so he could purchase a Super magic spell and potion from the Wizztard and poof! SUPER DAVE!
