New tourism director may be in future (Outer Banks Sentinel)

The Outer Banks Visitors Bureau may be searching for a new director if the board grants current Managing Director Carolyn McCormick's request to be fired without cause and, per her contract, be paid a golden parachute which is estimated to be more than a quarter of a million dollars.
