I'm from Florida (Tampa area). I'm looking to get started in BASE-Jumping. I'm not exactly sure what steps I need to take... or if there are any courses in the area. Is there anyone from my area that could give me some input on it? Thanks in advance.
My physical address is in Z-Hills, although I'm currently working out of the state.
If you go around to the DZs in central FL. and ask around enough you may find some experienced BASE jumpers.
As far as getting started, do some online research. 1st read the BASE fatality list. Then read it again. Keep on reading it. Also read the articles in "knwledge BASE" here and BASEwiki.com.
