I was wondering if there is currently any significant organised opposition to the NPS ban on BASE in Yosemite? Is the battle still being fought or has it been assigned to the lost causes file?
Having read page upon page of empassioned posts back in the forum archive I would be keen to know if the fight goes on?

I thought that Robin Heid is working on gaining some access. Last thing I heard was talk of phrasing it "Back Country Parachuting", rather than BASE jumping, to make it a little more palatable to the NPS and the powers that be (Congressmen who might get the wheels rolling?)
I'm not sure if he has an organization going, or if it is just him working on this. Has anyone been in contact with Robin that can share info on this?
Robin, is there a chance you would be willing to post on Blinc again? (if you're reading this)
That battle is only assigned to the lost cause file if we lose hope. Why not keep working for something good, like EQUAL access and treatment?
