    IPBC Question

    Hi Avery:

I know you may not be able to read this forum/respond to this post for some time (what with the fallout from the El Cap protest jump).

However, when you get a chance, can you tell me what I'd need to do if I wanted to compete at Moab this year? Is there a minimum experience level? Do I have to have any particular gear? Do I need recommendations from other jumpers?

Please let me know, so I can endeavor to be qualified by then.

    Thanks,

    Tom Aiello

    Qualifying for the IPBC Circuit

The basic requirement is 50 freefall BASE jumps.
We also ask that you compete at Bridge Day to qualify for the following year's circuit.
Moab also requires a standard velcro-closed rig.
At this point, I suggest you e-mail your resume, including number of jumps, type of objects jumped,
gear you use, and a referal to:
    theipbc@home.com

    IPBC Gear

    Avery,

    Thanks for the info.

Does that mean I can't jump my Prism at Moab (assuming that I qualify in other respects)?

    Thanks again,

    Tom Aiello
