TO THE NATIONAL PARK SERVICE ...

IT'S TIME TO TALK ABOUT PERMITS FOR BASE JUMPING IN THE NATIONAL PARKS. LET'S TALK ABOUT WHAT IT'S GOING TO TAKE FOR US TO BE ISSUED PERMITS. WE ARE NOT GOING AWAY, SO LET'S TALK NOW.

RE: TO THE NATIONAL PARK SERVICE ...

Hey Earl, I love you man but where have you been for the last five years?

They have said NO,NO,NO,NO!! Under no circumstances NO, period!

We have tried to talk, it does not and will not work period.

That is why we are taking legal action. Fred Morelli is currently filing a law suit against the NPS for equal access and discrimination.

They are going to loose, period.

I do and always will wish you and anyone else good luck in "Talking" with them (LOL).

    TO EACH HIS OWN ...

    My dear friend Dennis,

To answer your silly question; for the past 15 years I have been doing what I could to help gain access for climbers, hang gliders, paragliders, boaters and BASE jumpers. I understand what you are saying and what you are going through. I would like to point out to you that I consider government to be the greatest deterrent to freedom in this country. The federal government serves no purpose but to rob us of our hard-earned money as well as our rights. I fully support what you are doing. I also recognize that there are many other methods for getting what you want. I feel that in any conflict that has the potential to inflict casualties on both sides it is imperative to let the opposition know that negotiation is always an available option. This principle, coupled with the knowledge that the media as well as the NPS reads this board simply makes it easier to reach our goals, if possible. So, remember my friend, that I am on you side and until this "band of brothers and sisters" has some real leadership capable and willing to look beyond their own personal issues for the common good of the majority of BASE jumpers, we will all just continue to employ our own tactics in the fray.
