hey justin, the jump was a blast. remember this though bro. this site can be burned so fast it could make a dog's tail wag backwards. carefull who you tell.
special thanks to 516 and 515 for getting base. there aint no way i could have got it without you guys. also, thanks to my bro patches. call me about sending in our stuff. cya wed. gabe, it was a pleasure bro. lookin forward to jumpin with ya soon.
g.p.:*
hey justin,
not to take away from the jump made today by patches, chain link,515 and GABE, but you say that this seemed to be N.C.'s only "real" E. well, 515 and i made our E three years ago in N.C. from a different E, and if things wouldn't have worked out perfect, we would have fallen 280" to the rocks (no water) to a very real death off of a very real E.
congrats. to all involved and be thankful that 515 had the climbing experience and equipment to safley secure the exit area.
c-ya on the bottom}>
By "real" I meant natural not man made. I couldn't believe you guys did that over hard earth. Wasn't the ledge only 130?
There are a lot more "E"'s in NC than you think young grasshopper. Don't be so quick to call it quits. A "tree" landing suit is on the drawing board! This will open dozens of new sites.
Nice job guys... prooving once again NC is one of the best places in the world to BASE:7
Thanks Gabe!!! The site 'ROCKED"!!! Thanks also to my BASE bro Chain Link...and esp. 515 for all your help and guidance...and like your partner in crime mentioned, making the exit point nice and safe. That truely was a beautiful place...of course I never saw the beauty of a 1300' radio tower until BASE either!!!:7
You too Justin, look forward to jumping with you soon, thanks again everyone.........but also to everyone....completing BASE is more than a # to me...way more, its about making some "KILLER" jumps with some of the best people this world has seen!
c-ya!!!
Can someone from Carolina drop me an email?
I was planning on trying to get off a (relatively gnarly) E that I know of (from my days as a Georgia climber) there sometime just before Bridge Day this year.
Anyway, I don't want to burn your site, so I'd like to check in on the location.
Thanks,

Congrats, to the gang, the army grows larger every day. It's not the only E. but it is one of the most scenic. I had a blast! Let's plan to do it again soon.
Mike
P.s Hey Grinder, How's that finger doing? j.k.
:D
Congrats to Patches and Chain-link! Thanks to everybody involved. Like everyone's said 515 thanks for the guidance and a great estimate on our expected canopy time. Now let's get some more people off it soon. Look forward to jumping with everyone again and hopefully soon. Hopefully no one came down with dysentery from the water. :P
Later
Gabe
