NeilQ just posted on dz.com about Louis Sabier having a tension knot at the KL towers (here: http://www.dropzone.com/cgi-bin/foru...=845670#845714) and it got me thinking: if tension knots can be caused as the lines pay out from the tail pocket (?) couldn't you reduce the chances by seperating each layer of coiled lines with a piece of fabric? Attach one edge to where the tailpocket folds so they're like the pages of a book and bring each one down over each coil of lines as you make them.
Of course it might be easier to just pack neatly in the first place!
I have the grand total of 5 jumps so forgive me if this is a stupid question.
