    time for my second rig

I have decided that the only way I can learn faster and be more current is to get another rig.I am having trouble deciding between another velcro rig or my first pin rig.I have only 48 jumps and all of my local objects are between 200' and 400'(antennas).Except for a few balloon jumps every fall.I know that it really only makes sense to keep things as consistent as possible;therefore another velcro rig would be to easy.I know that I would also have to improve upon the consistency of my pack jobs with a pin rig.I am thinking however that after 100 jumps or so I may want to do some wing suit jumps. So, I don't want to spend the money on a rig I will have to sell. Also I only just started going stowed when I feel good.Is going hand held from antennas with a pin rig a sketchy thing to do?One more question. Can the BOC location between manufactures vary enough to be a concern?I heard that some containers may sit higher up.
    thanks,
    Trent :-)

I'd get the pin rig if for no other reason than to expand your arsenal. Some things (i.e. hand held delays) are made for velcro, some things (i.e. wingsuit flights) are made for pins.

I'd prefer not to take a pin rig hand held for over a second or so. Given a greater choice, I'd use a velcro rig for all my hand held jumps (aside, perhaps from the sub 200' ones).

I've owned rigs from five different manufacturers, Even between the highest of them (Gargoyle) and the lowest (Vision) I haven't had any difficulties. As long as you practice touch before exit, and have your hand on the PC in advance for super low pulls, you should be fine.
