Sounds like a low-altitude jump from an aircraft - a skydive, not a BASE jump.
Likewise, if you jumped with a stock skydiving rig from "the bridge", you made a BASE jump, not a skydive.
Glad you had fun! That's what is important..

I was wondering something similar...I made a really, really high altitude jump out of an airplane, but I had my eyes closed and I pretended that it was a cliff.
Can I count this as an E? or would this be an O? Maybe it's P for plane? H for High altitude?
I think I'm a big fat D.
Just wondering what people think this should be classified as. Myself and three of my friends did a four way, from 700ft out of a helicopter all using base rigs odyssey FX's. I logged it as an "O" if nothing else it was a darn good time. Thanx for the good time Lonster your the man.

I logged two 500ft ballon jumps in my base log book, but I don't count them towards my number of base jumps. They were just training jumps useing base gear, but I still wanted all the info logged where I could find it.
Its your log book do anything you want................
Yo Greeny,
what were you training for? If a one canopy rig works? I am (am I) missing the logic? Is it like getting in the air to see if it´s ok to fly?
take care,
