Well, I got some good feedback about the chat rooms post. As you all have read from the subject, the time and day will be:

TUESDAYS AT 9PM eastern time zone. (GMT -6)

So that everyone will be home from work. We'll try this for tomorrow night and see how it goes.
So if you don't know time zones,

6pm Pacific time, that's on the WEST coast---
7pm Mountain time, somewhere close to the middle
8pm Central time, somewhere in the middle
9pm Eastern time, that's on the EAST coast

Lets get feedback. If this day doen't work, tell me or say something. Lets make this work, it's to ALL OF OUR ADVANTAGES! THERE IS LOTS OF KNOWLEDGE OUT THERE, LET'S GET IT! It will take some time to establish the chat room and tomorrow I hope there will be at least a few people there. Spread the word as much as you can! Prove it, that this website is the best. Mick, keep working on this, I think it's such a great thing to have a chat room setup. Let me know if there is anything else I or anyone else can do to make this work. People obviously want more out of this site and here is the chance to make it better/great. I know just the basics for computers, but with your influence and knowledge, spread the info about YOUR chat room.
I'm rambling now but I hope it'll work.

If it doesn't work, "WE" all failed to make it work.
This is the best website for all of us BASE Jumpers, wouldn't you say, that's why we come to this one.

Since Jason Bell's "stuff", there has been alot more infomational posts and this is great. The pot just need to be stirred up alittle. It seems to be coming alive and for myself I love it.
More info that we can all get the safer we all can be. We need to learn from each other and I think if the chat room works, again time:

there will be lots to learn and we won't have to wait for hrs or days to get responces.

I guess this is a start and time will tell if it will work, there is no reason for it not to work. I think that if the info during the discussions saves one person's life it was worth it.

I am not the greatest of writters so if something sounds odd or confusing say so.

Hey Clint, nice job.
Just joking, but there is actually a whole entire world out here divied up into 24 different timezones.

I know there is many time zones, and from what some people told me MOST are in the USA. I am not sure of that since I don't have a clue where anyone lives. Thanks for the info, it's a start and hopefully I will see some chatting tonight.

Actually that is 3AM GMT time.

But this all raises a great point. There should be more than 1 event like this. One set up at say 8PM GMT time, and then this one at 3AM GMT time. This would cover Europe and the USA.

I also think that about a 1-week notice would be able to get everyone a better "Heads Up". It should make for better attendance.

But I still think this is a great idea!!

Thanks Mick, that's a great idea. So so 8pm GMT time. I just thought I would pick a day in the week and I wanted to see if anyone would go.
I didn't expect lots with a day or 2 notice.

SO 8pm GMT time is it.
