    Troll? (hey Tom, etc)

Anyone know if any changes have been made to improve the openings?
Anyone disagree with the previous mixed review in the gear section?

I'm not a canopy expert by any means but I've had very positive experiences with my Troll slider up/down, terminal/sub-terminal jumps. I'd be happy to discuss specifics if you want to e-mail me at baxter.gillespie@choicepoint.com.

Adding MDV's to your Troll should greatly improve the openings. I haven't had a chance to do any extensive jump testing on the system, but my observations have been extremely positive.

As far as changes to the unvented Troll, the only one I am familiar with is the addition of a fifth control line attachment (Morpheus retrofitted mine for free--Thanks Robert!).

I haven't heard of any adjustments to the canopy's trim, crossporting, or other characteristics. I'd contact Morpheus for the latest info.

    RE: Troll? (hey Tom, etc)

I added the fifth control line as well which really improves the speed in which the canopy reacts to input as well as creates a more powerful flare. I had a 90+ left on my first jump with the additional control line and about overcompensated correcting the heading. I haven't seen much discussion about fifth control lines on the BB and wonder if you need to be more sensitive to wrapping a line around when packing or have any other packing modifications?

Relative to the adjustments effecting opening, my crossport size was increased (ask Robert for exact size of increase) which seems to make pressureazation faster and consistent. I don't know if this is an adjustment that is being made to all Trolls or is just an "on demand" modification.

    c-ya.

    >my crossport size was increased...
When I asked about this, I was surprised to learn that my canopy had the larger crossports all along, so my comments in the reviews section are for a canopy with the larger crossports.

It's standard for all new Trolls. I'm not sure about retrofits to existing Trolls (I'd imagine that's by request, but I don't know).
