What is the best commercial airport to fly into with Twin Falls as the final destination? I have been told SLC but isn't Boise closer?

Boise is closer than SLC (by about an hour of driving).

Also, Southwest has non-stops from Oakland to Boise that are usually pretty affordable.

There is a commercial airport in Twin Falls that you can fly into, but it's expensive enough that only german industrialists with loads of frequent flyer miles generally use it.

if you plan early enough in the year you can get tickets to TWF airport fairly cheap. next year try travelocity or one of those other discount sites before the travel season starts. before march is best. i found good deals but wasn't able plan anything for certain so i lost out. next year for sure.

Dont forget about Pocatello (PIH) its only 49 miles from twin falls for about the same price to SLC.

Not to mention that if you take a connection from SLC to TFalls, the layover is about 2-3 hours, where it only takes 2.5-3 hours to drive from SLC.
