Just wondered if anyone's ever BASE jumped from a high tree branch - not just an overhanging tree on a cliff - I mean landing on the ground level with the base of the tree.
Some trees can be over 200ft tall, so I guess it's possible in theory if you can find a strong enough branch above a clear enough landing area.

Of course I was first to do so! Surely you have heard of my jump from the Anfiteatro de las Palmera con Los Pulgas mucho Ropa de Cama? It is a very large palm tree on the outskirts of Fuerte Olimpo in Paraguay. It is sad that this tree was cut down several years ago to get rid of the monkeys.
