Let's start a little discussion.
What do you think of this week's ESPN Magazine article ["Last BASE" ESPN 2/21/00, page 93], chronicling the death and life of the late, great Frank Gambalie III?
I thought the coverage was pretty fair. Although there were some glaring errors (neither the reprehensible Scott Burk, nor anyone else has free soloed the Nose), and a few misunderstandings, I thought the research was passable, and the article relatively unbiased.
I don't really think we can hope to do better, especially out of something like a fatality.
I also thought Adam did a good job of commenting and providing positive image for the article (thanks Adam!), and for our sport.
At any rate, what's the general feeling out there on this article?
