This one goes out to the amazing team that made my first base jump a fantastic one. Between painstaking communications to make it happen, a loaner rig in excellent condition, a primo pack job/lesson, generous coaching from very experienced jumpers, and one beautiful WV morning, I feel *extremely* lucky to have had the setup and help I did. BLiNC was/is exellent for mental prep, both in terms of getting familiar w/ gear and, yes, discussion of accidents. May my luck continue as skill grows... someday I'd like to be in that very same position of confidently assisting some base-jonesing friend with the first jump of her dreams.
