Go Away IPBC

Everyone who is sick of hearing the organizers of the IPBC get on the baseboard annonimously and speak badly of base jumpers due to some political mumbo jumbo, please email the ipbc scoundrals (Dennis Mcglynn, Harry Parker, Avery Badenhop) and let them know that they should knock it off or fall off the face of the earth. Since they feel so competative and want to take over the BASE events in Malaysia, it is so obvious that they are the ones starting all these bad politics. There is no doubt that these three guys care nothing about your avaerage old timer like myself. It seems like they're mostly interested in making money off our sport instead of really contributing to it. They feel like they have to compete with other people who have contributed to our sport,

It doesn't take a genious to figure out how to run an accuracy competition. Apparantly it takes someone smarter than Dennis, Harry, and Avery, to know that picking fights with so many people through the years, like they have done, creates enemies. From what I've seen and heard, the IPBC is a bad cancerous blotch on BASE jumping.

Just so you know, I have known Robin Heid a long time, and though I have have a few argunents with him in the past, that's where they stay, in the past. I get along good with Robin these days. He's not perfect, but he does try to get along with everyone.

What a chickensh*t move on your part Dennis, or Harry for bringing something up from the 1970's to try and make Robin look bad. I figure since Avery hasn't been around but a few years, he wouldn't know about Robin's activities in the late 70's. So what if Robin got thrown out of a party. What old time skydiver hasn't been thrown out of a party? Back in those days that was par for the course.

Let's talk about you Dennis. When the fatality happened at lake Powell, instead of staying there to deal with it like a real man, you fled the accident scene like a little coward, leaving your paying customers to deal with the authorities. And then you expect me to think you're great for going to jail?

I would worry more about people who had not been thrown out or asked to leave a pary than holyier than thou people who will stab you in the back and probably be the one throwing you out of the party in the first place.
been thrown out of one party one bar and lots of others i cannot remember what happened after i arrived..... but know i left some how some when as i woke up elsewere.....

I know this is an old post but I feel stongly about the Dennis/ Lake Powell issue. First of all, old timer, were you at lake powell? Well I was and I saw the most profesional response to an accident I've ever seen. Four people stayed at the lake for almost two weeks after the accident to sort out the mess. I was one, Dennis and Brenda were two more, the fourth shall remain nameless because I didn't ask him if I could post his name. Get your facts staight before making slanderous remarks. In fact "old timer" I don't recal one positive post from you exept to defend your solo remark to Justin. If not for the IBPC what other organization is out there representing BASE jumpers in a positive aspect? oh ya, the CJAA which is the same people as the IBPC. Last time I checked the fee for an IBPC event was $250 and there was a cash prize! What are you complaining about? Did any of you ever think that we could actually make money BASE jumping? If you have acusations about the lake or Dennis get your facts staight first. Yours truely, Jeff
