    slider control?

I'm planning a 900' building jump using a Fox 245 and a Reactor 4. What's the best method of slider control; the bungee under the tail pocket or the bungee directly onto the slider, or both?

And generally what are the pros and cons of each method?

    Steve.

    RE: slider control?

    HI Steve-

In referring to the BR Owner's Manual I find that the direct control method is recommended, which is the bungee directly onto the slider. You can visit BR's website at www.basicresearch.com and look in the reference section, Owner's Manual. Wait for it to load, then find pages 16 & 17. The manufacturer's recommendations are there, with an illustration of how the direct slider stow should look.

I do notice that the indirect method is not mentioned on these pages, so I cannot discuss the pros and cons of each method due to lack of information. Perhaps some more experienced slider jumpers have more comments in that regard.

    HAVE FUN! and safe landings,
    K
