Good to hear youre back in the air Michael.
Its all about the buffer zone.
>>Nice one Mac! I've got a friend who'll be coming back soon from bad injuries, did you have any more fear than ususal at the exit point? Just curious what to expect...
Nice work bro
Now gear up and pay me a visit...

Cant speak for Mac,but i had more fear at my comeback jump, than on any other jumps ive made so far.......its great fun(well not the hurting yourself part he heOriginally Posted by ZegeunerLeben
Yep for sure! I had worries about my exit, my landing, what I would do with various problems - I was peaking my nut off. It was the most intense jump I have ever done and all this on a nice object.Originally Posted by ZegeunerLeben
But once I was geared up, and counting down, the calm came over me and I went off and entered the world I had missed so much. I even gave out a tacky American style "Yeeehaaa" in freefall (not sure where that came from ) - all was good and I landed softly after a 1sec from 330ft.
It was an intense jump, and the fear was there more so than I could have had imagined - but the feeling afterwards was also more intense than any other jump - it was well well worth it.
I love this sport so much.

Yes its really really scary returning from injury after a year........... but you either know you belong in this place or dont....... its funny something that scares me so much, draws me in and makes me smile so much........
I liked the quote from a certain mod "if injury put me off then I did not really understand what I was getting in to in the first place" (or something like that) - I still use that today when people ask me why I am jumping after injury.
