Real easy, depends on how you feel about a number. I waited until I jumped a bridge, a transmitting antenna, a cliff and an apartment building. I've never heard of the hoover dam being called a hoover building, or a smoke stack being called a smoke antenna or a smoke tower. If you can't jump real objects and need to use other objects, well, I guess those are wannabe base jumpers. Since my buddy ended up with some stitches on his elbow from jumping an apartment complex with me at night, it was a couple days when i realized that I qualified for a base number. A number never proofs credibility, it is only in your heart that defines true base jumpers.

I've been B.A.S.E. Jumping for many years and my day number is 390 received it sometime in 94.I didn't know that there where night numbers. When I got my B.A.S.E.#, There were very few legal day type jumps around so of course, all of my jumps to that point were at night.I now have 687 total jumps, and way over half of those were and night.If you are handing out night numbers, why don't you go ahead and put me down for one. I am still very active (mostly in Arizona) and it might be cool to have a night number. I'm typing this from a computer at work and the address that shows up wont be mine. I am registered as BASE 66 and my friends Scott Elder and Bernard Poirier as BASE 64 & 65. I just published a book about becoming the first scandinavian BASE jumper. I know exactly how hard it is to get that last object.I have been jumping for over 6 years and still have not got that illusive "B". I have been standing at the top with rig on back, and for numerous reasons have never been able to nail that last object.It has become a burning desire and intend on fulfilling that desire soon."I hope".

If wind blows Around it is "B"
If wind blows through itis "A"
If wind blows under it is "S"
if wind blows up it is "E"
So a dam would class as a "E" Jump even though it was man made.
