    Bridles, pins, gromets

Quick question to anyone willing to throw in there two cents: I've got Perigee pro, and a gargoyle. The gromets on my gargoyle are spaced a little farther apart than on my P-pro. The bridle for my gargoyle has the pins spaced slightly farther apart than the bridle for my p-pro. I am well aware of the dangers of using a bridle with the pins spaced too closely (no slack in between the pins), but is there a problem with using a bridle with the pins spaced excessively far apart? Could the excess slack in between the pins cause a problem if I were to use my gargoyle bridle on my perigee? Any insight would be apreciated.

How much slack? My PRO already has about 1.5 inches of slack.

About 3.5 inches of slack. I can't imagine what could go wrong, maybe someone else can though.

Proper spacing should be the length of one pin, i.e. 1.5" and NO less. 3.5" sounds like a lot, I'd use the proper bridle for each container.

Would it be safe to just tack the extra slack closed?

Most likely not financially feasable as they do not cost hat much
