Based on my experience, most noobs start preparing for Bridge Day (learning about BASE, learning to pack, lining up gear, etc...) several months in advance of the event...
You will probably continue to have trouble finding gear, especially online, since nobody knows you, your profile isn't filled out, and I am going to go out on a limb and assume you have no prior BASE experience.
There are people that rent out BASE gear for the event, but it's doubtful you will find someone willing to say "I know you are a complete stranger, but here is a rig, take to Bridge Day and jump!"
I'm just saying...
I had a guy leave me a message a couple of weeks ago letting me know that he had registered for BD and wanting me to "mentor" him and hook him up with one of my rigs...I never bothered to called him back. My thought process was that you better have your shit in order BEFORE you register to go.
No I do not have any prior BASE experience. I am just doing what Jason Bell told me to do since many of the manufacturers have no rental gear left. I am not looking to borrow a rig. I am looking for information on any other companies or individuals that are willing to rent gear. Thank you for your information anyway.
For some odd reason, this is the first year since 2002 that jumpers are having problems renting gear. Not sure if the supply is low or demand is high.....
If any jumpers out there have an extra rig that can be rented, please let me know. Also, people needing gear can possibly use their skydiving canopy packed in a used velcro BASE container. There should be several containers for sale in the classifieds. See our Bridge Day gear guide
Damn; sounds like I need to get into the BD gear rental business, that's where all the big money is. Right?? :P
Hey Jason, what is the "official" policy on home made containers? Good to go, or needs to be from an established manufacturer?
We're not the BASE gear police, but we do have to "educate" a few people every year who think their Sabre2 will make a great Bridge Day parachute. No problem using a homemade BASE container.

I know this girl personally, and she is an experienced legit jumper from my DZ. It would be really great if someone could help her out, you wont have to worry about your gear.
I have two rigs available for rent:
1: Fox 225 in a Reactor- Will fit up to 5'8'' and 155lb or so.
2: FLiK 220 in a Vertex- Will fit up to 5'10'' and 155lb or so.
Feel free to get them wet, just not bloody.
