    Hey All

hey guys im Petty Officer Miguel Rodriguez Australian Clearance Divers (CDT-TAG(e), navy special forces.

im currently on holidays but been watching base jumping vids for long time the closest i get to free falling is my Parkour been training the discipline for 7 years now and studied the discipline over in france.

Just wondering what is needed to start Base Jumping and if anyone knows any good locations in Australia.

I have already Sky Dived 10 times single already so i know how the chute and other things work.

    Thanks.

I would personally say, get into skydiving, and learn that sport first.... the rest will come.

Well with 10 skydives and your Xtreme Parkour experience, you are more than qualified to PLF. Unfortunately, thats about it.

its amazing how many times someone asks this exact same question word for word... try looking around the forums, you will find pleanty of info if you ar interested enough to look into it.

on that note, this is my opinion and how i did it. i didnt have the suggested amount of skydives(but i grown crewed for 2 years around the world), but something tells me you dont understand fully how a "chute" works. play around the forums, ask questions when something interests you or doesnt make sense keep reading the fatalety list and get as much canopy time as you can afford! above all find someone willing to teach you, not no a website, at your drop zones and what not, talk to them, be their bitch for an extended period of time and then pay for a trip to a good safe place like a high bridge with lots of landing outs. (i personaly went from balloon to hilo, to bridge.) then just try and survive.

    Re: Hey All

    money is no problem.

i can do many skydive lessons as i want

all i was basically wondering if theres anyone or places in Australia that do it so i can talk, watch and learn from them.

i only have a month left on my holidays so next time im out which wont be for another year i will just fly straight over to the states, either way i have to go back home to Puerto Rico see family.

so when the time comes i can come watch you guys and learn.

Oh, and as a BASE jumper, I personally like throat punching parkour d-bags because they're as annoying as gingers...so don't throw that out there.

    You were good at Diver.
