    Exclamation Jumpers from DC/MD/VA

    Hi guys,

I already wrote a post a couple of days ago but unfortunately didn't get any answers. But Mick encouraged me to try again.

I'm a German student and right now studying at American University in DC. My major is journalism and I have also worked as a freelancer for the last couple of years.
For my journalism class I have to write a profile story. That means to portrait a person by observing and talking to him/her, and would also include to talk to friends/colleagues and maybe even family members. And I would like to write my profile about a skilled base jumper.

Last weekend I have been to the Bridge Day and talked to some of you. It was a great experience and it supported my decision to do a story on one of you. But unfortunately there was no one from the DC area (DC/MD/VA). And as I don't own a car it would be important for me to find someone who's living close to DC.

As I know there are some reservations about journalists I want to ensure that I would do everything necessary for you to confide in me. I would be accurate and fair, and would guarantee the highest transparency of my work possible. My goal is NOT so show how crazy or dangerous base jumping is, but write a comprehensive profile on an interesting person.

As this story is due to October 30 it would be great if you could answer me asap!

    Thanks a lot,
    Matthias

btw: I did this story on BD for a German newspaper.

I would love to help, but the KL Event. Hopefully someone will help out as your project seems genuine.

Good luck on the project. Good to see you at Bridge day even if it was really cold...

If you didn't get a response, jumpers in the DMV area aren't interested.
None of them are interesting anyway...

    Yo,

There are several locals in DC area. If they are interested they will (would have) posted. MD BASE is pretty low key, so not likely to be any takers.
