What kind of experience is good to have for the GC?
I'm thinking like gear wise, medical wise, landing zone wise, exit wise, weather wise, etc.

That they can party and not puss out at 0500 hour. Junie allen browning from the ultimate fighter ground crewed me on my last jump yesterday morning. All he could say was !fuckin awesome! "When I am too banged up to be a professional fighter, I wanna base jump!"

In my limited gc experience I can tell you this (and correct me people if I am wrong)...
The weather, landing area, exit, and gear is the jumpers responsibility. If they want to jump skydiving gear or in 10mph winds I can only offer a suggestion. If they still want to jump its up to me whether to follow through or back out. But if I follow through, I make sure I prepare for the worst and know where the nearest hospital is, have a first aid kit, communicate with the jumper(s) thoroughly and follow their directions.![]()
