short tower

i have a 279 tower with no wires behine my house,it has cell attenas about 25 ft from the top of the base,at least i think that what they are,they look like there waiting to grab a pilot chute.my question is iam planning to go off the top hand held with a non vented 46 pilot chute with a 305 vented troll,and gargoyle ,would it be safer to have a 2 sec delay to clear the hazards on the top, will the speed i pick up before pitching made depoyment a little faster.Are would it be safer to go off under them a lot lower and with no base to run off of.the landing area has only two hazards,the fence with the wire on top and the house across the street,the rest is open feild.

Its hard to say without any pictures of the antenna you are talking about.

Also, what is your experience in this height and object? Your post seems to suggest that you are not that experienced in either or in BASE in general? Sorry if I am wrong.

When jumping such a big canopy, you have to be a little more cautious in the lower ends of freefall, especially when you speak of 2 secs from 280 or freefalls from lower to avoid the thing that is freaking you out.

I am not great at writing, so I hope someone else will pipe in with some more constructive advice.
