Rob, Gery's grasp of English, as far as I'm concerned has NOTHING to do with the reason he/she has received a healthy dose of cynical p1ss taking, and a look at the replies seems to confirm this. The issue here was perhaps more to do with lack of subtlety, lack of concern for the attention this post might bring to an object which might be getting flicked every other weekend. We just don't know what people are up to do we.??? As far as the "real deal" sponsorship issue, what difference does that make??? Like that's a greencard to go bulldozing in and screw things up for any locals there.

Gery's post was pretty insensitive and the posts in reply to it mirror that.

Gery! great timing buddy! We were actually thinking about making a load tonight! we should be there around 9pm. We usually dress like police officers (to avoid security) so if you see one of us out there just walk right up and say,HI! I'm Gery and I'd love to jump with you guys tonight. If by any chanch you show up late, just meet us at the bottom (we usually stick around for a few beers afterwards) the bridge is about 220ft at the span so don't take more than a 3 or 3 1/2 second delay before you pull Good Luck!
