    Favor for an "iTrip Mini"

If any of you Americans come over to the Valley where the Oceans are Yellow, the Noses are big and the Mousses are wet and like to do me a favor, you're very welcome:

I have this iPod Mini and I saw that in the States, you can get those FM Transmitters called "iTrip mini" (really, has nothing to do with drugs). Here in our country, those things are forbidden, hence I cannot buy them here.

So again, if you wanna do me a favor, if you could bring one of those (with a Auto Charger if possible).

There is a special one for the iPod mini

    Found there:
    iTrip mini:

    Auto Charger

    thanks a lot

Ah one of those! yeah they are dodgy here too (in uk)............. not sure what the ruling is with them about using the FM frequencies here, but I have heard it is illegal but there is some other rules that are a grey area on why its ok - bloody Ipoders hey! ........ I knew a guy that got one from the states he was using here in his car and he rated it highly (once he got it to work!)................ certainly a cool tool if you like that sort of thing........... I will stick to my 6 play CD player............

i-trip is okay. i have one, but if you live in a city where there are usually lots of broadcasters then you'll struggle to find a free frequency and it can get annoying when some local radio station interupts you with some ****e drum and base.
The other option is to get the audio cassette adaptor. No interference there and does the job well.

The cool thing about the i trip actually is that you can drive behind a friend using one and if they tell you the frequency they're transmitting on you can listen to their tunes too. The only down side is you have to be almost bumper to bumper to get a good reception. Fun though.

If you can't find someone to bring one over just buy one off ebay.

I also have the standard cassette adapter for my iPod as well. And I prefer it over the Fm adapter. Consider getting one of those as well (first).

I've owned three various FM transmitters for my iPod. I've not been pleased with any of them.

I know the industrial designer who did the iTrip, though. Very nice guy.

Why not just get one on ebay?

Thanks a lot for your help. Appreciate it.

PS: So I think I'll go with the brand-new CD-Adaptor, this is like the old-fashioned Cassette Adaptor, but instead of the Cassette with the cable, there is a CD with the cable ;-))
