Kim and I are bringing shawn home.
I will post the details of the incident after family and friends are informed first.
I will say this that it could have been anyone of us. from 1 jump to 1200 we all are suseptable to the mall function she had. some of us have just been lucky.

You are not friends of ERIN. A real friend would not lead someone to their death because they were romantically interested in them or needed a playmate. She had under five hundreds skydives and three broken bones. She was not qualified to be there. This was a complete waste.

Hey Dee,

Shawn left his morning to go to the funeral and should be back at the end of the week. I think he's planning on posting about the incident once he can collect his thoughts. He and Joe tried to post an account from Italy but they lost their connection (imagine that) and now there's this thing with Kim. If things come in 3's, I don't even want to know what's next.

Ed,

Remember how determined Erin was about going to Angel Falls? She even had a specially-made cast for her broken ankle so that she would still be able to do that jump. Erin was an intelligent, mature and independent woman of 29. She had been making her own decisions for years. As painful as it is to have to lose her, we should accept that it was her own choice to take the risk. I don't believe that she would have allowed herself to be led into it.

Let's honor her by treating those that she loved the way that she would want them to be treated.

Ed, I know you must be hurting from the loss of your friend but do you really think ANYONE would "lead someone to their DEATH" just to have a romantic interest or jumping partner? We all know the risks involved in Skydiving and BASE. We're all adults and make decisions for better or for worse.
Don't try to place blame...The situation is bad enough as it is.

I just heard that they finally figured out that Kim had salmonella poisoning, probably from something she ate on the plane. At any rate, now they know what they're treating and she should be ok soon.

He was my mate and the only person that killed Daniel son was himself , His family still blames us, 4 of us were in the front row at his funeral and the looks from his school friends and other friends will never leave my thoughts ,I will never go to any more base funerals , Ed Please do not cast blame as these people have lost a friend too.
