It is known that psychokiwi will be proud to have a new member that is as hard as they come. This morning, in true Australian style and Mince Division fashion, Christopher McDougal - aka Douggs, out-tracked the talus (without a wingsuit) at Smellvagen to land in the water. The jump lasted for a record setting time of 25.9 seconds before the pull was initiated. The previous record, reported by Stein Edvardson was a pitiful 16 seconds. Douggs (with the weight of his fetus), was unstoppable on his way to the water. Koalas where fearing for there safety, and the tigers were falling off their ferris wheels as Douggs screamed by over the tree tops on his way to the water. Amazingly, he was able to deploy his canopy and manage a 10 second canopy ride.
Douggs recorded the entire jump, but unfortunately (in true Australian style) his camera was zoomed in all the way. But, the jump was recorded from several angles as proof that this couragous event actually took place. So, now the invitation is out, try, just try, to beat Douggs' record setting jump. It is not doubted that some carnage will result from this invitation as we know that BASE jumpers always try to out do eachother - expecially the Aussies...
