looks like you've lost another one. the norwegian newspaper "dagbladet" writes that a british basejumper, 50 years old, was thrown into the wall after a bad jump at kjerag, and got stuck on a shelf. he fell down from the shelf while the rescue team was climbing down towards him. I'm so sorry to hear that. All my thoughts to his family and friends. Forever blue skies, and stay safe.

I was out in Norway last week when Terry was also jumping. He was a great guy and allthough I only knew him for a week I'll really miss him and I'm sure I write for the rest of the party from last week.

The guys name was Terry Forrestal...in his fifties,ex Special Air Service and a mountain man through and through.I was out at Kjerag with him the week before he died and was impressed with his approach to life and death.He was a stuntman for the 007 movies and new the risks involved.Having broken every bone in his body in his pursuit of excellence he made me a better person with his "hey...its coming to all of us" attitude and his respect for all things in life.
Think long and hard before your next jump people because it could well be your last,and do yourselves a favour dont do to anyone what you wouldnt want done to you.....hopefully the world will be a much safer,nicer place as a result.Take care Terry,see you on th mountain some time.

Hey Fox...try reading the orange label on your gear.If you go jumping without the brains to realise you might get killed or maimed doing it then maybe you have the need for some attitude re-adjustment.
I may be a newbie but geez I realise how dangerous this stuff is...let me know if you are interested in a grid reference for your impending crater because I know where theres one goin cheap.Wise up...make a will and get a good doctor three good pieces of advice from someone with a bad attitude...obviously!!
Hey there! I'm not saying that your attitude is bad, but if you go BASE-jumping you'll have to accept those risks involved. People die doing this sport, and many more accidents will happen, because people make mistakes, misjudge situations and also sometimes have just bad luck. So we all either accept that or do something else.

I lost a good friend of mine in April in a skydiving accident. He knew the risks, I know the risks. That's a load of bullshit coz IT STILL F*CKING HURTS !!
Knowing the risks is a hollow phrase we can use to protect our emotions from whuffo's asking questions. Respect people who know how it feels to enjoy extreme sports. Especially if they felt the pain of losing people in the sport they love.
