I am interested to hear your views on Pins v Velcro for a newbie....... It seems that advice I received 2 years ago swayed toward the velcro rig for a newbie ........... but it seems now that a twin pin rig is now becoming the way forward for a newbie............. attitudes are changing........ and there seems some real diverse views on whether a pin or velcro is how a newbie should go.........................what are the thoughts!!!!!

Velco rig would be easier for you to pack at first.
Pin rig later. Velcro rig first. Young man!
