420' from an "A", ideal wind, 42" ZP Pilot Chute, 2 sec. delay. Is this setup ok??? I don't have a 46", right now, if not, I can probably climb closer to 500'
thanks for everyone's input.

I have taken a 42 from 380-840. I would recommend not doing 700+ with one but everything in that range has been fine for me.
Looks good to me.
BR's gear-height-delay chart at
http://www.basicresearch.com/
gives your setup "fair".

How much altitude do you need to make your LZ safely, Normally on an A you need to calculate that you are to turn into the wind, if your LZ is a "into the wind" only area,,,With a wide open LZ, not a prob for intermediate..
