Fox vs. Mojo

As I have only a few basejumps, and now looking at buying a rig of my own (as opposed to ask my friends to borrow theirs all the time) I have some general questions on base gear, and would like anyone to share their view.

I'm 184 cm tall, and weigh about 85kg. Thus I would like a canopy a canopy sized 260-265. So far I have only jumped fox 225, and fox 245, and it has been great. Never tried a Mojo, but I am planning to try one before I make up my mind. Still I wonder what the differeces are, and preferably from someone with experience of both brands.

When it comes to the rig itself, I kind of like the finish on the PerigeeII, and Wizard. As I understand these normaly are being sold together with Mojo canopies, but would there be a problem to put a FOX in one of the two containers?

I would like any comment on buying gear, and any advice on equipment (what to look at when buying second-hand etc.)

I have a PerigeeII with a FOX 245. It works just fine.

I'm 174cm and weigh 70kg. I'm no expert and I don't have that many basejumps but for me a 225Fox/220Mojo or 245Fox/240Mojo sounds to small. I would say that 265Fox/260Mojo or 285Fox/280Mojo would fit you better.

I haven´t jump any Mojo´s so in that area I can´t help you!

I use a Mojo 260 for 99% of my jumps.
I also have a 220 and a 240 for some fun jumps.

I tried a 280 for about 15 jumps and really liked the way it flew and landed.
I just felt at 75kg I was just heavy enough for it. If I was about 10 or more 'kg' hevier, I would most certainly be jumping a 280/285 for my primary main!

Bigger is better when you are trying hit a dime on landing!

BTW. What altitude of sea level do you jump at?
What type of objects.

As I live in Norway I most certainly will do a lot of Cliffs. So far I have only 4 basejumps. A 72m bridge, a 33m crane (pilot assist with waterlanding), and two cliffjumps from Karlskråtind Romsdal. From the cliff i felt the 225 was perfect, but if something went wrong (slow opening when pulling low for example) I wouldn't feel too comfortable with landing in narrow areas.

Also I would like to be able to do some more really low jumps as i.e. the buildings where I live are pretty low. But for now I'm most comfortable with higher objects, and I'm not planning to go too low before I have more experience. But as to what kind of objects I'm looking at; any object jumpable as long as I feel it matches my level of experience.

If you jump a cliff, with a talus and then have to land on the talus, how much material do you want?

If I have to land somewhere I didn't plan on....The more material, the easier it is to land there.
