    rescuing procedures

Maybe this question was already posted by what the heck.
after 14 jumpes winth my skyflyer i experienced for the first time uncontrolable spining - kovit. Did any one try some other rescuing technick then arching and relaksing (with going into a ball possition and then arch again). I tried it, i was in a İballİfor 3 sec.or more and then archen out and it didnt work and when i atbilized my self i was on my back.. My spining accured due to a bad exit. What do u say would the skydiving tecnick of getting out of kovit help here with skyflyer.

    RE: rescuing procedures

Tuck your arm wings back along your sides to get them closed all the way, and dive. Keep your tail wing inflated and as soon as you get speed you will easily be able to counter the spin with your tail and pull out of the dive.

This has worked for me numerous times (SKYDIVING). I do not know what BirdMans actual reccomended procedure is for this as I did not ever take any formal wingsuit training.

    Theres my two cents ;)

    RE: rescuing procedures

In skydiving, I've had one spin with my Crossbow. Got into it, I think, while doing barrel rolls, because my two legs were not even. That's my guess anyway. I got out of it by tucking into a ball. I believe this is the technique recommended on the BirdMan site, as well.

I'm also a tandem master, and was taught to get out of a sidespin by pulling myself and the student into a tracking position. This sounds similar to Seth's recommendation.
