I'm pretty sure that you are still a bit under Birdman's recommendations for first wingsuit jumps (I believe it's something like 200 skydives with proper coaching).
>What should I be looking for in a beginner course
Someone who is certified by Birdman. I'm pretty sure that if you call Kim at Birdman, she'll be able to find the closest instructor to you, and provide contact information.

My advice would be to demo a classic during your training and first jumps, then move up to a GTi (depending on what your instructor thinks of your flying skills) when you purchase your suit.
It looks like you are getting into wingsuits pretty darn early in your career. Be very careful. They can be a lot of fun, but they can also be quite deadly.
See:

And read number 64 for the story of someone (with a bit more experience than you) who also rushed into wingsuits pretty fast.

Hi
I do agree with Tom.
I recommend you to make more skydives. It is hard to say if you are ready to fly wingsuits or not without the opportunity to see you jump, but 170 skydives and 5 basejumps are not make you very experienced.
At least do allot of wingsuits jumps in skydiving before taking it to base. It is much safer and if you practice allot in skydiving your performance in the wingsuit will be much better in base.
But then again, who am I to say what you should do or not do ...
