The more I think about it the more pissed I get. The NPS and others taking advantage of their "power". Well it's time to do something about it, and I think that Bridge Day should be the beginning! We should at least get together and have a brain storming session to explore our next step. It's the perfect opportunity to get some positive exposure and to get a public opinion, of jumpers, what we should do to be able to enjoy our "RIGHTS" as U.S. citizens to B.A.S.E. jump in National Parks. There will be plenty of media coverage of B-day and if every jumper who is interviewed makes sure that the news people know about our fight and the abuse of power that is going on. Think of the BIG picture when asked to do an interview, don't just think of yourself! Make sure they know how BIG this is going to get, we will not give up our fight until we are not looked at as criminals for pursuing the sport we love so much. This can be the beginning, we just have to get our act together. Maybe plan some sort of protest at the parks, Washington DC, or even in front of Dennis' jail cell! I'm not sure if this letter writing campaign will work but it is worth a try. A while back Nik from BR (i think) had a form letter to send to one of the higher-ups at the park service, all we had to do was to copy it and sign our name and acording to Nik they HAD TO RESPOND to every letter recieved. I don't know how many of you actually sent this letter but I did and I never got any response from anyone. Maybe a few letters won't get a response BUT thousands of them WILL. NIK if you are coming to B-day why don't you print out some of those letters for people to pick up. These are just suggestions and I hope everyone who is coming to the bridge will think about possible solutions to get our rights back! We have a mission so come prepared. We will win, one way or another. Jason
