Dubai and Jeddah base jumping

Hi everyone,

I am going to Saudi Arabia - Jeddah, early September. Will visit Dubai as well. Any base jumping happening there ? Thanks for letting me know, since the buildings in Dubai in particular seem perfect.

I lived in Jeddah for 1 year back in '74-'75.
I remember a few tall buildings, I'm sure there must be more by now.
We did take trips to Taif, where I recall lots of cliffs, surely some are jumpable.
Too bad "Dead Steve" is really dead now, as I know he jumped in Arabia.

Hey Mark,

there should be some nice B's to jump, just make sure to really check out the escape route before you jump... Arabian police posts/prisons don't seem so appealling to me :-(

I know a guy who jumps in Dubai... or at least used to until it became a hot subject. There are some ace buildings to jump but the guys are being very careful. Drop me a line and I will give you an e-mail address for more info.
I also want to be able to jump there once I am up and flying again!
