"...Four years ago, seven men and one woman were arrested for parachuting off the tower.
Jespersen, 46, said he saw that stunt, and an earlier group parachute off the tower, while doing farm chores.
"That was a much more pleasant thing to see than what I saw today," he said..."

I RECEIVED THIS EMAIL FROM DON, WHO NEEDS OUR ASSISTANCE.
***********************************
I live close to the tower since it was built and I was doing field work by it when it fell. I was first to arrive at the scene and found an 18 yr. girl at the base and her boyfriend was working up in the tower when it collapsed and he was killed. They were not from our home town but I would like to try to find some stills or even a video of it for her and for me.
The tower has always meant something special to me just as a structure but now it has an entirely different meaning. I had seen base jumpers go off it two different times. The first time I was checking cattle in a pasture below it and nobody would believe me and the next time about a year later I saw it again only that day they went up twice and I believe the sheriff was waiting at the bottom the second jump. I don't know if you can be of any help but your web-site came up when I was trying to find some info on it. Thank you!

Probably not suitable since they are computer based but:
ftp://ftp.skydivingmovies.com/public/base/nebGROUND.rm
ftp://ftp.skydivingmovies.com/public/base/nebPLANE.rm
ftp://ftp.skydivingmovies.com/public...braskaRULES.rm
is this the same tower?
Yes it is the same tower, I am the owner of the footage and will contact him directly.
It is a shame to lose such a nice object. R.I.P.!
Well, let's not overlook the loss of two tower workers who had families and friends. My condolances to those folks. Peace be with you.
