    Inside-Out?

Anyone else had their shrivel flaps turn inside-out or fold up on itself? This has happened to me on several occasions with both of my rigs. BR Reactor and CR Perigee. It has happened with both slider up (terminal) jumps and static line jumps. Mostly with static line jumps though. For the most part it has been minor with the shrivel flap going in about 1/3 of the length. Although recently on a static line jump the thing was almost completly inside-out.
Body position was normal, standard 80lb. test break cord was used (except for the terminal jumps), the last jump was with a new (5 jump) shrivel flap. The system seemed to be working fine with no heading problems and no noticable delays on opening. Any concerns I should have???

    RE: Inside-Out?

I've seen that one too. My shrivel flap turned completely inside out after I flew into a guy wire.
the darn things are pretty much invisible under canopy.
I've had some 1/4-1/3 inside outs on a couple of 3 sec delays with my 48" PC. something about a really big snatch????

    RE: Inside-Out?

I've seen it after people have gone way head down, which makes sense. however that guy said he had a normal body position, which I take to mean normal attitude, so must be something else
