May i be so bold as to thank you for bringing this object to our attention so that we can now step up security and stop all you mad jumpers from coming within a mile of it.

You've got to be kidding.
It's going to be the tallest building in London by *far*, and it's smack-damn right in the middle of the City. It's going to be a bit hard to miss, don't you think? Given that it's going to be a corporate building (PwC are going to own 20 floors or-so?) I don't think the physical security is going to be ramped up any more than was already planned just because someone named it on this board.
I understand and fully agree with the "don't name sites" policy, but in this case... let's be realistic and not chastise people unnecessarily.

Your right. We need to get in touch with all the news agencies in the world and tell them to NOT report tall building plans because it might burn the site for us. I'm sending a letter to Yahoo news as we speak. I can't believe them!!!
My travel plans for 2006 are shot now that everyone knows about this secret 1000ft tower. I was hoping that no one would notice it going up;-)

wow...can someone tell me where I can get one of those building cloaking devices that they are going to have to use...my house could do with one when my ex comes looking for me.:*
there is a difference between knowing about an object and publisising it.
many of us have been aware of the plans to build a lage building on this site for years this is just the final permision for this particular design.
there are also plans for a few more tall objects in the pipeline but hopefully these will not hit the media again so you dont have to publisise them even more.

Being an arkitekt I can assure you all that it`s going to be a beautiful skyscraper as long as Renzo Piano building workshop is designing it!!!
