    I want your profile!

Hi! I'm currently researching a new design project- i'm basically trying to gather a profile of base jumpers; i.e:age, sex occupation, reasons for getting into the sport, which you prefer the most, Building, Antrnnae, Span or Earth? and also some idea of how difficult it is to get into a building?- is there a dress code to make it easier?- so if you've got a spare 5 minutes and feel you could me a profile of yourselfs it would be appriciated!

    I want your profile too!

Which building do your work security at? I'll give you my personal info if you'll get me onto the roof...

Seriously, why do you want the info, and who are you?

I'd strongly recommend AGAINST anyone posting this kind of stuff (especially the "how do BASE jumpers dress when trying to get into a building" question) without knowing more about who will be reviewing the information (in fact, since anyone can read this forum, I'd say it'd be a bad idea to discuss your B&E techniques anywhere here).

But, hey, to paraphrase Space, you seem like such a nice little troll.

I could not agree more with Tom.
Telling your age, sex, etc. is one thing.

But openly talking about illegal activities is another thing.
I would also wonder why someone making $5.00 an hour is surfing the Internet, let alone taking it upon themselves to help management with security profiling.

Definitely sounds like a troll...The issue is:
Why are they trolling? Just because? Most trolls are just bored; I think. ;-)
But there could be a troll that is trying to get incriminating information for a different reason. Probably NOT good.

RE: I want your profile too!

I normally wear a groucho marx glasses and moustache ensemble(including cigar) coupled with a pair of slightly soiled smokescreen underpants.

Big floppy shoes are out this year as they dont make for a quick getaway, but a car with doors that blow off when you stop at traffic lights could be a goer as a diversionary tactic.

Some of the jumpers i know have now started going in drag, not for a disguise but purely for the thrill...seems like the dress code is pretty liberal, long hair, carnuba wax,a dead presidents mask and a surfboard are however unadvisable...i hope this helps...

it's just 2 extra letters PAL

Why don't you just ask if we will list any jump sites for you? Cheers to the blow off car doors. I usually just go in and say I am a terrorist going to blow up the builiding. That way, if I get caught, the squad team isn't so upset because I don't actually have a bomb. Did I mention I usually carry a gun also? This makes for some interesting conversation in the elevator. And, it keeps security guards away from me. And, a gun makes for easy roof access. Sometimes, when I am lazy, I just shoot the window out, and then jump out of it. It clears a good landing path, as the people below are usually hurt or killed by falling glass out of the...

    RE: I want your profile!what!

ARE YOU HAVIN' A STEFFI GRAF........
OK maybe my reply is a bit harsh,I'll tell you one method that I use to gain access.
I normally hide in the toilets of Greenwich Park trying to dodge the cottagers! Then..once the gates are locked I climb the tallest tree in my thong that says BASE on the crotch, leap off avoiding the insects, they're pretty dangerous if you hit them at high speed, land with a slightly inflated parachute avoiding certain hazards ie:mole hills, tramps etc..ps;please don't tell the gate keeper, laters.
