The way it should be done

    Yeeeeeeeeeeeehhhhhhhhaaaaaaaaaaaaaa!!!!

Kudos to these guys from Norway! Felix and Red Bull could learn a thing or two from them.

Concerning my post on Felix's jump a few weeks back (http://www.baselogic.com/cgi-bin/for...&auto_sense=on) I must say that I respect Nick DiGiovanni's theory of ramming as many BASE jumps down the public's throat, legal or not, to gain "exposure" and "acceptance" of BASE. There is some merit to that. I also respect Robin Heid's view that Felix's jump created inspirational photos, interesting water cooler conversation and so forth, but this Bangkok jump does all that and more. And it was legal! This was a BASE event that no one will find fault with. No one will be able to point fingers at these guys and use them as examples of how disrespectful BASE jumpers are. No one will be able to use these jumpers as an excuse for prohibiting jumps elsewhere. No one! Not the superintendents of any NPS unit, not the head of any state transportation department, nor the owner of any building or antenna worldwide. This was truly first class!

Here's an english version from today's Bangkok Post:

Congratulations again to you guys and thank you for demonstrating how BASE jumping should be addressed to the public.

    Class act

Way to go! Next stop, post jump publicity photos of Chippendale type posing aiming crossbows at each other in a hot tub full of Red Bull to really garner our admiration ;-)
