Description:
By Samuel-Adrien Balley:
Part 1:Year 1995. I started my skydiving "career" in a French Air Force competition team, doing accuracy landing and acrobatics. I was not so bad, I even won a gold medal at a junior championship, but I felt I had better potential for Relative Work, and after a selection in 1996 I joined the French Air Force Competition & Demonstration team. This is a video of an acrobatic training, now considering that I was barely turning below 10 seconds when my teammates were showing potential to turn below 8 seconds, I think I did a good move going into Relative Work ;-) This video as been recorded by Olivier Suquet, who won the French championship later that year. As usual it is a perfect video; I am always in the screen even if I was flying a bit everywhere up there. Olivier is the only videoman I have ever met who doesn’t need a viewfinder on his helmet to make perfect shots (51 seconds).
Part2:Year 1996. This is a video of a Landing Accuracy Training we did during winter 1996. The helicopter, a CH-53, came from Germany (6 minutes 17 seconds).
