Right now we are on the subject how about landing a wingsuit. Theres been plenty of big hard talk about landing a wingsuit on a suitable incline covered with snow but heres a more practical concept.
Land the wingsuit on the slope of a very large wave.
Heres how it would work. Hawaii would be ideal, especially for beginners.
Wait for a large winter swell where the faces can be 40ft+. Line yourself up parrallel to the swell coming into the beach, pick your set wave and land down and along the face of the breaking wave. The slope of the wave and the broken surface of the water would help cushion the blow and increase your chances.
Life jacket optional but you would want a mate standing by on a jetski to help you out.
Any volunteers?
Concept pat pending Johnny Mac.
