Anybody in the upper midwest catch the northern lights on Saturday morning? I was walking the road to the local tower, alone, under what seemed to be a huge sky with the northern lights shimmering and pulsing like I've never seen before, and saw a streaking meteor to boot. Definately a strange portent. It could have felt eery or ominous under the circumstances, but instead it was very peaceful. It made me feel very small. It was cooler than the morning of the Leonid shower, and that was cool.
