The post about the world's greatest jumps got me thinking about a couple of friends who made their very 1st jumps on Saturday. These are not normal people, do not try this at home. These are Far Side Phreaks.
JD is a guy who just can't resist pulling low at the DZ on his stilleto. It seemed the only way we were going to save him from this practice was to get him into something were pulling low was a the right thing to do (a little reverse psychology). So JD procedes to go stowed, in the middle of 4 way, full floater into a stand up, rolls over gets stable and pulls at 5 seconds and lands dry. No points for the non stand up landing. Bad JD.
Colin isn't as nuts, but with only a couple hundred jumps he is already an advanced freeflyer, and from what I hear now he used to do some coached diving. Not to be out-done he also got into a 4 way and busted out a picture perfect layout gainer, also landing dry.
Way to go you sick bastards.
Disclaimer- I in no way encouraged, let alone even knew that this is what was planned, if in a fact a plan even existed. All I did was pack their rigs and sew a tailpocket on a clapped out raven 2. If you see these guys on anything but a tall bridge please try to steer them straight.
Tree :D
