PC Hesitation

240ft UK Span,

Ran on to bridge, jumped up on railings, pulled 48zp PC from BOC (PC configered as per going stowed). Security comming down bridge, didn't resort PC into muchroom. Jumped and threw instantly. PC didn't inflate for a long time. Trees got very big. I got a very short canopy ride (just got hands to breaks). Landed in trees directly below exit point, never got forward movement. Cut away, and spent 2 mins trying to get canopy out of tree. Canopy wouldn't move so ran off, back to car leaving canopy for police. Drove out past object as police arrived (7-8 min after jump). Returned 1 1/2 hours later to find no one about and canopy still in tree. Spent 30mins extracting canopy.

Reasion for hesitation: I did an instant deployment on a PC packed as per stowed delay. The PC was roled tight and it took time for it to unfold and inflate in the low air speed.
