I want to tell you I think your efforts in starting the original BASE Board was the Most important thing in BASE for several years. After Carl died, and then Smitty quit publishing BASELINE, there were only a few means of info, Nick's mag and onece a year one by Nigel Slee in Eng. Huge void appeared when the numbers of want a be BASE jumpers was exploding. The BASEBOARD filled the gap beatifully. I know the USBA fell behind in the numbers, and we caught them up thanks to weeks of work by Joy, but you guys were the ones who kicked it in the ass and I appreciate it. I think BASE owes you a huge THANKS, since you provided a forum, not only for the US, but somewhat for the world, at a critical time when the info was needed most. Congrats and good job.
By the way, this may look like a post from Joy since I'v had trouble setting up my account. Joy says she'll show me how.
