    Legal Spans in Europe

Are there any Legal Spans in Europe? Nice large landing area preffered.
Started at the potato bridge but cannot go there until mid-end of next year.

Kris, read carefully what pbla4024 wrote: legal or tolerated?
The most of bridges in Europe are illegal simply because it is illegal either to stop the car at exit point (or to walk up to exit point, which is actually nearly the same thing) or to land underneath (legal property/presence of structures/people/whatever).
But there are also a good number of bridges which are tolerated to be jumped. Tolerated means: it is NOT ILLEGAL to walk to exit point and it is NOT ILLEGAL to land underneath (public owned land WITHOUT houses/buildings/people). In such a state of NOT-BEING-ILLEGAL, BASE jump off of such brdiges is TOLERATED. If you do not disturb the drivers, if don't behave like a stupid noisy bloke, if you don't disturb the "environment" where you land, it is TOLERATED that you jump off that bridge(s).
Legal bridges in Europe: I know of NONE.
Tolerated bridges in Europe: I know a few where you CAN jump all day long (but it is NOT your right to jump off there (=it's "simply" not illegal)).
The difference between legal and tolerated could seem subtle but it's NOT.

Nope, I am a citizen of India and need a Visa everywhere I go. With the way the world is today, having a record would cause hassles that I am not ready to deal with.

I understand your position, Kris, but I think you should rise your "target" at least to "tolerated" sites (also called "not-illegal sites").
Beacause if you are looking for explicitely LEGAL BASE sites, I am afraid in Europe you can find NONE. ZERO. Zero BASE jump activity.
Always keeping a good open eye to what you are doing, always paying very careful attention to landing area, always behaving smoothly and quietly, low profile, always paying careful attention about not being messy, if you jump at a not-illegal European BASE sites, the worst thing that can happen if authorities (at least for average Italian police behaviour) catch you is to stop jumping and go away, but sometimes they do not even bother sending you away.
We had an argument with police at a "tolerated" bridge of ours (police was called because drivers passing on the brdige saw some of us ( ) that was volutarily rendering him visible to drivers, moving his bright colour PC around and getting unnecessary attention of same drivers, possibly distracting them from safe drive of their vehicles): once my friend explained that we caused no harm to structure (not even binding bungee elastic (at first they thoguht we were doing that) or other "things"), police left advicing us NOT to be visible to drivers.
No fine, nothing at all, we are still happily jumping that bridge. But always paying attention about being nice and quiet.

Thanks, that clears it up for me. I will wait for summer and go to Norway.

sorry bro, but i have a feeling that is not 100% accurate. there is a place, in a little village far away (but still in europe, also if they insist to have their own money... and NO, it's not an island) that has investigated the possibilities of banning BASE and they have found that they could not do it and that for the laws of their country, it was not possible to forbid doing dangerous things to people. they actually published that in the local newspaper.

i would say having no legal grounds for banning something means it's legal? even tough... i am obviously not a lawyer.
